Seat to countertop measurement....

My Scamp is in winter storage until April (I miss it greatly - no joke). I am wanting to do a project but need some measurements. Can you help?

On a 13' Scamp:

What is the distance between closet and kitchen cabinet base - fiberglass to fiberglass?
What is the distance between kitchen table bench seat to the top of the counter - fiberglass to fiberglass?

Can anyone help? Thanks so much.

Closet face straight across to face of lower kitchen cabinet = 39-1/4"

Top of dinette bench to top of lower kitchen cabinet = 14-3/4"

2008 Scamp 13' Standard

Thanks to Jon who has a post-fire Scamp, but if your photo is of your Scamp then you might need measurements from a pre-fire Scamp13.
The aisle is probably the same but the bench to counter just might be different.

Thank you Jon and thank you Floyd.

Forgive me, but I don't know anything about post/pre fire.... Can you share more?

Our Scamp is a '96.

Seat to countertop measurement....

A fire at the Scamp factory in early 2006 destroyed molds used to fabricate the shells. In producing new molds, Scamp increased the height of the 13' model several inches. The factory came back online in late 2006. My 2008 has about 6'3" of interior headroom. I believe your pre-fire version is about 5'11" or 6', something like that.

David, my curiosity is piqued... Those are somewhat unusual measurements you requested. What project do you have planned?

I'm working on a 'cargo net' to go across while in transport. I'm hoping to construct it here in the next month. I have all the parts now, but need to construct it to proper dimensions.

Ah... across the dinette bed between the closet and kitchenette. Makes sense now. Hope you'll post a picture or two.

Take a trip to your local auto salvage yard. Check in trunks and hatches.
You will likely find a perfect cargo net for your application and maybe a few which will give you even more ideas!

Question

While we're on the subject, and my Scamp is in for repairs, can someone give me the height from the floor of the dinette to the bottom of the table when it's down in the bunk position? 2005 13" Standard layout. Thanks all....

13-3/8" from the bottom of the lowered table to the top of the raised dinette floor. I have factory carpet in mine. The exact measurement could vary depending on the type of finish flooring you have.

Thanks Jon! I saw some plastic boxes that are 11" high that will fit nicely under it. It'll be good storage under my bed.

Seat to countertop measurement....

Just remember the folding table leg in the middle. I think it protrudes down a little over 2", so your storage boxes should still clear.

Yes, was aware of the leg, but am thinking I'll remove it as I leave the bed made up all the time and use the bunk on the other side as a sitting area.
Again, thanks.

Can anyone supply me with measurements from a "pre-fire" Scamp?
