Shelves and counter space

Shelves and counter space were seriously missing in Mouse when I got her. I have been adding more after each trip.

Just added a new shelf over my bed, 4x1 ft. It should give me space to put things when I am camping.

This picture shows the water shelf I added last time. The bottom shelf tends to hold my personal kit and wasn't big enough for things I like to have out.

I added the front table and the top shelf in two steps for eating, reading and preparing food. they work great!

I just added hard shelves to my closet. I hope they work well filled up while traveling.

I am not sure there is any space left for additions!

Love it!

I'm curious how you attached the various shelves.

I tend to use white L braces to support the shelves.

If I attach them to fiberglass I use rubber well nuts, also called expansion nuts, because they work well with thin fiberglass and only need a 1/2" deep hollow space.

I am doing this on a ct13 which is double fiberglass walled so none of the bolts show through or cause leaks!

Good Job Brooke! Looks very practicle, personal utilization of space in one of these can really be an art form. I has enjoyed seeing your progress.

I love what Brooke has done. I'll be working on my own no drill solution. I've had good luck with the Scotch exterior double faced tape and I notice they have come out with a 3rd version called Extreme, which should be even better.

I tried to use this extreme tape to adhere some tiny wires to the fiberglass and it did not hold at all. I even wiped the fiberglass with alcohol. Dunno bout this stuff... Others may have a different experience.

Really nice! Did you gelcoat the side wall or is it carpet?

Thanks

Thank you all. I can't think of another addition I need to make with Mouse!

I'm sure something will come to me soon!

Mouse is a uhaul ct13, so she has a gel coat interior. Very practical, pretty and easy to clean.
