Simple LED awning lights install

I wanted some warm LEDs to hang from my awning and here is what I came up with. It was about $25 altogether.

I replaced the end of the LED lights with a BA15S Socket Connector Base so I could plug it into the exterior light. This was the easiest way to power them and I can turn them off at the switch too.

I will hang them with some badge holder clips which run about $6 for 40. Way cheaper than buying dedicated "awning clips" which run around $1 apiece.

I don't have any pics at night, but I think you get the idea.

Harbor Freight has solar LED rope lights.

I actually had that set. Not as bright as I would like.
