Slipper Storage in an Escape 21

This is a follow-on for my Dirty Shoes storage.

Wifey wanted a place for clean trailer shoes/slippers. I didn't like the ETI cubby option alongside the door of the 21 so decided on a redesign. Putting in a 36 inch high cubby setup with 2 holes large enough to hold shoes, one high enough for seasonal stuff like bug spray, and a catch-all tray on top.

The 36 inch height was chosen to leave a 40 inch alcove above for mounting hooks to hold wet jackets from overhead hooks. Also a good size for shipping.....

All openings are 9 3/4 inch wide with cubbies that range from 12 to 8 inches tall. Depth to wall ranges from 3 to 7 1/2 inches (at the 36 inch height.)

Construction is all white ABS plastic with edging, using 3/4 by 3/4 poplar for mounting to the ETI framing.

Our layout is shown, making the cubbies over the next day or two.

Looks like its going to be really handy! Were you able to match the paneling?

Not going to try and match the paneling; final white will match the fiberglass entry door area instead. Much easier to fabricate (all solvent welded) and keep clean.
