**Sigh** Can't we all just get along? I have done the research on my solar project and am just waiting on feeling better about my short-term financial situation to pull the trigger on some panels & stuff. I suppose I could go ahead and spring for the panels and hold off on the controller and batteries. Two-thirds of a project doesn’t sound very satisfying though.

I'd steer clear of the Chinese panels anyway. All of the name brands are made in the US, Japan, and Korea.
