Sticking (painted) wood to battery box?

Hello,
I'd like to adhere a wooden cleat inside my Camco plastic battery box.
How would you recommend accomplishing that? I saw no VHB tape suitable to those two surfaces and it seems 4200 is the wrong answer, too.
(Context: Outside, I plan to surface mount a master 1/0 under the handle and inside, I plan to mount a couple of 30A inline fuses.)

Try Gorilla construction adhesive or glue. Or simply drill two holes through the side and attach with wood screws.

Thanks. Some research directed me to JB Weld's Plastic Bonder Structural Adhesive as one of the few things that is friendly to the weird polysomething plastic of battery boxes, wood, and harsh conditions (heat, cold, humidity). I actually wrote the company and they directed me to it. But thank you for your response. I appreciate it.
