Storage??

Have a 1982 Burro.......would like to add some storage above my dinette area. Was thinking about using 3M command hooks (or maybe something else?) and some netting? I know it won't support a lot of weight but might be useful for bedding or sweatshirts, etc.

Anyone done something like this? I don't have any cabinets above the dinette area......

Here are some photos of what I did to my 81 Burro (inherited from my dad). At one time my dad installed some angle brackets with rivets. I don't have his tools or his skill set, so I worked with what I have success with, PVC pipe, and nylon rope. I attached these racks to the existing rivets. We will try them out next week for the first time.

Other improvements are newly covered cushions, and we moved the dinette forward, using an old computer desk that I dismantled and cut down for the table.

I like what you did. Did you have 3 cushions originally or did you change that when you had them recovered? How tall did you make your table? I might bug you with more questions, if that's ok?

Storage??

Thanks! Originally, the front was a couch that converted to bunk beds. I decided to split the cushions to make the dinette work. I bought new foam. When I got it from my parents, it had the original cushions-they were fair, but the foam was shot. I was inspired by all the cool stuff on this site to make some changes.
We stole the table support from the back dinette, so it is the same height. I just measured it- top of the table is 27 1/2 inches off the floor.

Dan and Janet, love the computer table idea, and the set up so you can use it as a bed or dinette. PVC can be a creative material to use, I hope the shelf works. I have tried different things and still do not have a reliable shelf. So am hoping yours works good. I like the design of it.
