Winter is time to get stuff done .. at least for my project. I've been moving right along. This is a point where we put things back together and do the things I like. I got the Maxxfan installed on the roof.

Fit my perch perfectly. Plus the screws helped to reinforce my wood sandwich. I also got the flooring done.

I love the warm look it gives. Also hides the last of the yucky stuff. Window frames are next !

I've taken a few weeks off from working on the Surfside... But I'm back at it.. Today I finished cleaning and rebuilding the four windows. Now I need to install them in the frames. Then its on to the cabinets.

I'm waiting for the black vinyl insert to come .. that will finish up the windows nicely.

Movin to the inside work now.. Cabinets ! Starting with the closet and the seat on that side. I built a whole new closet because the I didn't like the factory one. But all three seats are good, and with a few adjustments will be fine.

Here is a test fit that worked out good too. I make a double hollow wall for this cabinet. That way I can hide the wires, and have a wood finish inside.

Work continues on the cabinets. All the lower cabinets are done except the inner workings of the kitchen..

Slow and steady wins the race... or I'm just slow no mater . The cabinets are all done now. The wiring is done. Yesterday I got the front rock guard back in place WITH the solar panel too. Next is the door.
