I think if you don't put Boler decals on it people will think it's some new, classy looking FG brand.

I'll put The Tripple E logo back on.. The Surf Side is back.. I've reached a point in the re- construction of the trailer where it's time to start building the cabinets. New lino is on the floor, walls ans ceiling painted.

And that reaches under cabinets. Now I can mark locations and start construction. Let's talk about the belly band .. or the vinyl insert that's around the middle of the trailer. I looked at all the options for this.. And kept coming back to the Taco Metals boart rub rail product. sold through many different suppliers. But always seamed to be just under $300 ca. 50 ft roll only. Well it;s the only thing that works.. A bit bigger overall but fits good..

Covers a bit more of the aluminum trim.. but provides a noticeable black line around the trailer. Photo has the old (left) and the new (right). Works for me ..

WOW I saw one where they left out the trim on the belly band on the back and added a 3 way LED light strip. You could hardly see the lights until they came on

That's cool.. Even though I like my LED's I'm not sure I would go the far. But I have that strip on my truck..
Gotta keep some old school stuff.. And speaking of ..I sourced some "GIMP" to use where things join other things and it may not be perfect.. Gimp works for that..

Here's some on the top of my closet where it meets the roof. Sure was a fight to get the closet to fit.. But it's in.

search for upholstery gimp or hidem. They come in various decorative shapes or plain, often used on trim of boat seats, ect.

Using gimp up there is such a brilliant idea! I ended up caulking some areas like that to hide the seam.

Here's the rear overhead done and installed.. The white gimp looks good where the cabinets meet the ensolite.

You're making great progress Rob! How are you attaching the cabinets?

That's a good question... One of the things that I like and that's different from Bolers and Scamps ( and there is lots) is the frame around the windows. The factory used 1/2" plywood with paneling ( same as the cabinets) laminated to the frame. Windows are screwed from the outside into this. After 34 years the screws were rusted to almost nothing. And the plywood was junk. I made new frames from Spruce, biscuit jointed / glued, and SS screws. These frames are strong and as before from the factory provide a good place to attach things. All shelves and cabinets are screwed into the frames. As well as the floor. And the door frame is used too. The fridge cabinet is glassed in place because there is no window frame to use. Also I lifted the roof installed the cabinet and lowered the roof and it's tight. It's clever ! Cabinets help to stiffen the roof without holes. As for the seating .. Like a Trillium these have a molded in lip at the correct height and they glassed in blocks for attaching the seats. (much like your little blocks) It all interlocks and stiffens up the shell.

Just the access lid needs to be cut. The 1/2" pre-finished birch plywood is perfect for this. And I made sure to have a 1/2" lip so the cushion won't slide off.

The fridge cabinet uses the same birch plywood for the side walls. My 12 volt compressor fridge is here too. Nice little fridge and a good price from Northern Fridge.

These are becoming the norm to use now.. Low draw, As cold as you want. Now that most trailers have solar power.

I may have gotten a bit carried away.. But I scaled down some of the letters. A bit more tasteful I think. And the Triple e is not the same font.. Could not find that one. If anyone knows what it is please let me know. Also slowly gathering my parts and supplies. got a new stove.

Nice and small... important when your counter is also small. Carrying on just like I know what I'm doin !
I know you’ve likely finished this project, but if you’re still looking for the original Triple E font, I lifted it from our old trailer to make decals. I have the words as a photoshop file, then used a Silhouette to cut decals. I could send you the file or just mail you a set of decals if you want, just send me a PM.

I bought the larger of the two small fridges.. still small though.. It's been hard to get at the trailer lately. We sold our house and life's a bit of a scramble. I've got all the cabinet structures installed now and the wiring done. The weather is nice now so time to move the trailer out of the shop. It's back on the frame... door and roof vent on.. and the new wheels.

Things were crowded in the shop.. So it's nice to really see the trailer.

It's strange how the door doesn't line up lower rear body line.. It fits good and closes nicely. I still need some work done inside.
