SurfSide window upgrade

Hi. I'm looking to upgrade the windows in our '75 SurfSide. I came across a forum post from some time back that mentioned that there are "several" custom manufacturers of windows, but didn't name any.

I've contacted Lippert, MotionWindows, an outfit in Indiana (I think) and one in BC. I see advertising like "you design it, we build it" but none so far actually "manufacture" the windows ... they'll assemble them within certain parameters.

Any leads on somebody that actually custom builds them would be greatly appreciated.

You mentioned you contacted one in BC and I'm assuming that's Sunview Industries out in Summerland? A few Srufside owners have used them for custom windows with great success and I'll be using them once "corporate" approves the budget. Good luck!

Hi Zbigniev ... yes it was SunView. I want awning style with either full pane or bottom half opening. They only do "standard sliders." Thanks.

We had Sun View Industries in Summerland BC make new ones with rounded corners to replace the original jalhousie (louver style) windows in our 1976 Boler. They do have a website, I checked out then called them. They explained how to do the measurements etc. Very good to deal with and we are happy with the product.

Thanks Nancy .... Like I say, I want awning style and SunView only makes "standard sliders." The reason I want awning is so that I can have them open without fear of rain getting in. The corner radius is not a problem. I see awning style windows on other trailers and they're not too far off on size, but so far have been unable to find out who actually manufacturers the windows.
