adhesive ok next to range?

The backsplash looks great. Any concerns having it close to the gas range? I had looked at the adhesive backsplash squares to use in our boler but thought they said not to use them behind gas ranges.

Aahaaa, you decided to make your awning. I thought you wanted to buy. How's that going? Anxious to compare notes. Although I got a good price on the fabric, I found I didn't save a whole lot. But I so love the accomplishment. Post pix when you get it finished.

Will do Linda! Cost wise its about a $130 saveings. I have been looking at sunbrella fabric for a while till I found what I liked and the price was reasonable (well $12 bucks a yard for 14 yards plus shipping) Im still working on it and doing a few things different to it...all about customizing it but will post pictures and a "mod" for it.

Better be careful, Deryk, or you'll find yourself a job in North Carolina

Just catching up on old threads from earlier this year. I must say I am in awe of your tile backsplash. I see that the option is listed as a late 2013 standard option, wondering if you were the inspiration for that. You did a really beautiful job, Deryk. Thanks for sharing.

LOL, i just have to say it...
I think the words "for now" finish off the sentence a bit closer to deryk's personality. Somehow i can not imagine it ever being finished the way Mr.Glamper keeps finding things to do, hang, attach, etc...
