Trillium 1300 Map/Magazine Pouch

Does anyone know where can I find/buy/order a magazine pouch/pocket for my 1980 Trillium 1300? This pouch is located by the entry door, it hangs off of the closet wall. Any advise on this will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Gabe. Sounds like you're looking for something soft sided. There are many door hanger type pouches out there that may work for you. If you have a sewing machine, it would be pretty easy to custom make just what you want.

I made one from some scrap lumber. The two knobs hold a plastic grocery bag for trash and there's a bottle opener on one side and the flashlight holder on the other.

Hey, Raz, that's a nice-looking holder!

Here's Peanut's: I think ours is original and quite simple. The door has a molded-in inset and three wooden slats attached across it. We use it for various things. Yours has many options that sound like great ideas.

Double-click on the photo to enlarge it.

2nd hand stores often have little carrying cases, bags, pouches, etc, and wooden items like magazine racks for sale cheap--so do yard sales, etc.

GabeB: Welcome...at one point I'd certainly have gotten some upholstery fabric and made one to suit...show us a pic of what you come up with when you do, will you?

Thanks everyone for the advise and for sharing ideas. I guess I should’ve been a bit more specific on my initial post but I wanted to see if I could find an original-like pouch, however, now that I’m seeing your ideas and suggestions I think that I’ll go ahead and have one custom made. Thanks again, I’m definitely enjoying this site. I’ll for sure share a photo of whatever I end up installing as a storage pouch.

Hi I would attach a pouch to the inside of door instead of any cabinet wall. It makes access easier and brushing against it less likely. I have considered this for my Trillium as well but have not installed one yet. Velcro strips or nickel snaps would work to attach one. Duane

I would also focus on the door first. Think about what you want to store. In my case, a garbage bag like above would be handy! The closet side bags (I have two of them on that wall) are less useful IMHO.

Another thing I find useful is a set of hooks. I have them on my Escape. Its an easy place to hang up the dog leash, hats, jackets, etc. I'm planning to put a small set of hooks somewhere on the side of the closet on my Trillium near the door.

I use 3M Command hooks to attach my trash can to the door. It's out of the way there, but easily accessible.

I have found some good RV organization items on the website Organized Obie.com
They have a lot of mesh pockets and mesh cargo netting in all sizes that are helpful. Enjoy your Trilly!!!
