Trillium belly band sealant, quick question

Hi, I want to add an itty bitty bead of sealant around the belly band on our 1980 Trillium. Last year I used Shasco Big Stretch on the advice of someone somewhere. Unfortunately, it gathers dirt like a Hoover. Looks terrible. I'm now removing it with mineral spirits and brushes. On deck is 3M marine adhesive sealant. Can anyone vouch for this or recommend a non-silicone caulk to use? Thanks in advance. Colleen in Seattle

I haven't done my belly band yet, but what I've used everywhere else - windows and through-hull fittings is: Pro-Flex. A tube for a caulking gun and it comes in white, black or beige. Pro-Flex seems to be what everyone around here (Pacific NW) uses. It works and stays flexible. Follow the instructions. Just don't use any silicone-type material !!

Polyurethane caulk is another good choice. You can purchase it at Home Depot and Lowes.

Thank you. Have ordered and will run some "test beads." I'm the world's worst beader--hoping some masking tape saves me.
