Upgrade on running lights/turn signals, 19' Scamp

I've read of folks converting their running lights, turn indicator, etc., to LED. Is this just a bulb replacement or does it require changing the fixture? If the latter, can someone recommend what I need to purchase?

Also, I'm interested in converting my rear side running lights to include turn indicators to increase my visibility to other drivers. Is this a thing that's done ever? If so, same as above -- what fixture do I need?

Thanks!

You can go either way , replacing just bulbs or if you like the vintage look I'd suggest led trailer lights remove the guts and rivet them to oem base so you can keep original look then it's just a matter of tying in the wiring and LABEL LABEL LABEL the wires

Try the search tool(magnifying glass emoji right side of banner). Lots of posts , you might pull something from. I did a post on bulb switch and adding led strip light in existing housing . If intrested use search tool and specific member option.

I'm going to make a wild claim, that you can replace any bulb on your 2005 Scamp with an LED bulb that has the same geometry base, including interior bubs. For example, if you have an 1157 bulb (brake light, turn) search Amazon for an "1157 LED" and take your pick. You'll love the difference in brightness, and less current draw.

Yep, I've since figured this out and since purchased them!
