Want to Paint our Egg. Looking for Referrals in L.A. area.

Hi,

We would like to paint the outside of our 1988 Perris Pacer. We live about an hour south of Los Angeles in Laguna Beach, CA. We could take it north to LA or south to San Diego, or anywhere in between.

We mainly want to do it right, and would like to find an auto body painter who does quality work.

If you know anyone, please let us know!

Thanks so much!

Janine and Charlie

Would you mind taking it over to the Lake Perris area. I know a painter over there that does Vintage Trailers and did one of mine. He's good, he's painting my Burro (it's the second job I've given him).

Hi Gage,

We could take it there. Would you mind sharing his name/contact info and how much he charges, in general? (We just need to brace ourselves!)

If he did a good job on your trailer, that's a great lead!!

Thanks so much!

He painted my Field and Stream that I restored and I was very happy with it. And I'm one of those guys that everything has to be just right. I'll recommend him any time. He's good. He used to work as a body & paint at a custom car shop. Now he has his own place. You might say I helped get him into painting trailers. I'll send you his contact info via a PM.

You can see my Field and Stream at the following link. Oh, it's not an egg.

Janie,
I also used a custom car paint shop to have my Uhaul painted. Cost around $800. He did a pretty good job, could have been maybe a little better around the trim pieces, window frames, hinges. But, she is bright and shiny and cleans up with just car wash soap.

Thanks!

Thank you for the great advice and referrals. We are going to get some bids, and will let you know how it turns out. Now we need to decide upon a color. Thinking a sage or teal green. Our new Subaru Outback is white white, so the current off-white color of our Perris Pacer egg just won't work.
