Water heater

I am thinking of installing a water heater to the outside of my 13' casita on the hitch, has anyone done this?

As long as you are outside, I don't see a problem. Others have used something similar. I use a Coleman heater for showers and such. Same idea.

Are you going to shower outside? There are many trailers with outside showers.

This is intended to be used outside (and away from buildings as well)

It's not designed for mounting on an RV and you might not want to use it right next to your LP tank. Clearances are listed, including 3 feet from any windows as it throws off a lot of heat.

Many have asked about alternative methods of obtaining hot water vs installing a regular RV water heater, so far there really aren't any safe alternatives.

On a more positive note, a low-tech and inexpensive solution can be found here: 20L Solar Portable Outdoor Camping Shower Showering Water Heater Heating Bag | eBay
