Smile Water Heater in a 13' Lil' Bigfoot

We want to install a water heater in our 13' Lil' Bigfoot.
I have installed 4 gallon units in both a 13' Scamp and our Hunter Compact-II and have a few questions before starting:
1. Where are they usually mounted? I was thinking under the dinette seat, right behind the left wheel well.
2. What size tank is usually installed. I am told that the 4 gallon is no longer available, does anyone have a 6 gallon installed?
Many Thanks
