Weather striping for small door gaps.

We have a beloved older 16 ft Scamp and have put up with the door gaps , but recently we found a product that is working well for us. We have replaced the door gasket with the new version but still had some small gaps. The product we found at our nearby Ace Hardware is “MD Expandable Foam WeatherSeal”I am happy to report that so far it is doing the job and all door gaps are gone. We have our fingers crossed that it will continue to do the job.

We put it on the flat section of the door in the areas we had gaps. Very good adhesion on it. We have tried all kinds of weather striping and this seems to be the best one so far.

We went dry camping this weekend and the weather turned very cold and lo and behold, the cold air drafts from the door were gone. We were impressed more and more with this product.
