What size awning for my Burro?

I am ordering a bag awning for my Burro 17 and am wondering what size. Leaning toward 10 ft. Anyone have any thoughts. Also will the brackets that I can add to the camper to be able to use the awning without the poles on the ground be helpful?

Our awning on our 5th wheel scamp which is 19' was/is 10'. Was/is because we had to take it off due to wind damage. It has the legs that you stake down. I would love to have the kind where the poles are off the ground and not the gap between the trailer and the awning case but the trailer was new this spring and children keep calling for rent money and they are too old to give up for adoption.

LOL! That sounds awfully familiar. The oldest did get a job this year and had gone 5 months without asking. Hence the new awning

Cyndi, Bob K on YahooScampers is going to post pictures of his 5th wheel awning. From what I understand he made a tapered board that he attaches to the backside of the brackets that fills in the gap. The board is "removable" to clean/wash/wax and get the leaves out from behind. When he finally posts some pictures, I'll provide a link. (you need to be a member of YahooScampers to view however). AND, you can attach legs to the side of your Scamp. I received the brackets when I bought the awning for my trailer, I just haven't put them on...
