What to do with a Casita clean slate?

I purchased a '96 Casita Spirit Deluxe 17.' I got a great deal that reflected water damage to the floor. The water problem has been solved, the new sub-floor is in, and I'm working on putting it back together.

Here is my question to all you smart folks - what would you recommend for me to do with my clean slate? Right now, I'm looking at electrical choices. I have new LED exterior lights, but should I consider adding a third brake light or a backup camera, etc. before I put the interior walls up? USB-C outlets?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I would definitely install the third brake light above the rear window. Reason; a vehicle following close , usually in stop and go traffic, can't see the original tail lights. This is especially a problem with big trucks following close, the driver can't see over the hood anything close. I installed a LED strip light that is combination marker lights, turn, and brake light.

Bob - that makes sense, especially on the highway with trucks. Can you recommend a strip light for above the rear window?

Rather than a brake-only light, why not install a pair of lights that give you elevated brake and turn signals? The hardest part of that install is running the wire under the carpet, so you’re way ahead of the curve.

You can find detailed info on this at casitaforum.com, it’s a frequently done mod.

I don't have them, but an extra brake light could not hurt. I like LEDs. I don't need the camera.
Looks like you have a good start, build to suit, enjoy your travels.
Mine is my home, when I'm away from home. Ain't roughing it.

The single light I installed has it all, turn, marker, and stop lights, all in one unit. Separate lights that are out toward the corners of the trailer would be better probably but this was an easy install and I was mainly concerned with the stop light feature.
