Where to buy Rat Fur...

So, it's time to continue to work on my 13' Boler again. I'm trying to figure out where I can buy Rat Fur in the Edmonton area or Alberta to save on shipping.

Also, how much should I buy? Would 100ft be enough?

Thanks!

I went to Wayne's Upholstery in Edmonton (8825-63 Ave). They specialize in Auto and RV work. They have huge selection to choice from. I used marine carpeting (Sea Galley Opal Ribbed). Material was shipped from west coast. I don't know of any local manufacturers. They did the work so I don't have a record of amount but they can probably give you a recommendation.

Hi John, About how much did it cost you to get the people at Waynes to do your interior like that?

Here are before and after pics. The old "rat fur" was a felt-like material with a thin foam backing, which broke down due to age and probably moisture. It was a tough job gutting the trailer and removing it and the glue residue. I left the original white (1/4"??) foam insulation. Wayne's Upholstery installed the new marine carpet "rat fur".

They did a great job!! I love the colour compared to the gray that I have seen others use.

Looks pretty close to the color Scamp uses, which, based on posts, elicits a love-it-or-hate-it response. I love it. Grey is a cool color. I prefer a warm tone. Choices are good. I think quite a few people wish Scamp offered at least one more option.
