window frame polishing

I have searched the forums, but for some reason had no luck finding a post thread where someone posted their beautifully restored/polished window frames.

Can anyone tell me what product they have used to reassure the shiny lustre to their aluminum window frames?

I'm sure there will be contradicting opinions, but I use Mothers Mag polish on our all aluminum teardrop. Available at auto parts stores and Walmart.

Hi: calindor... Here's one that I did from our former Boler. I used Nev-r-Dul wading/polish from the Hardware store. Work'd like a charm...just follow the directions on the can.

Hi,
I tried many solvent/dissolve products but my frames were so pitted I went Princess Auto and bought a polishing kit for the drill. It had 3 different colours of abrasives, (wish I had marked which buffer wheel got which compound!) and went at it. Opps, first I lightly sanded with 400 grit.
Lots of work, worth the effort.
