I touched up the door window frame on my Scamp (Hehr) with black satin. When I took it to the glass shop for new glass, they thought the frame was brand new. Little did they know it came off a 25 year old trailer. I used Rustoleum brand, spray can

YMMV

On edit: I should have mentioned I put the frame in the bathtub and used a scrub brush and Tide laundry detergent to degrease it and get it sparkling clean... first.

Fred,
When I was redoing a CT13 last year I repainted the window frames with black spray paint.

After cleaning the whole trailer in preparation for the Red Max Pro treatment, I used the floor finish on the frames also. They turned out looking better than brand new.

I have some really nice newer style Jalousie windows that I'd like to put in my Scamp. Unfortunately they are white. Has anyone ever tried changing the frame color?

I used black term clad on our window frames. Painted it with a small 3/4" brush.
