Wood Window Trim

Hey wondered if anyone has seen or done wooden trim on outside of windows? Most mods seem pretty stock but just wondered about the idea of trimming out several features like the windows with a nice hardwood. Haven't been able to find any pictures of this, maybe for a good reason?

Denise, I assume that your mean around the outside of the windows, inside the trailer. Wood on the outside of the trailer would be high maintenance.

Yes, this has been done. I'm not familiar with Scamps, but if they are like Trilliums, there is a wood frame under the Ensolite, (Elephant hide). These frames are prone to rot and needing replacement. I have done this, but I ripped the Ensolite in the process. Fortunately for me, the upper shelves covered that rip. However, others have put a frame around the windows to cover their rips.

Window trim

Not done to be window trim but hold the blinds against the Casita window and eliminate the elastic loop holder.

We still do not know if the OP is referring to wooden trim on the OUTSIDE of the trailer (decorative trim bordering the trailer, either glued on or stuck with 3M VHB tape, or it they are referring to the INSIDE of the trailer but bordering the windows outer edges.

On the outside, it would be a maintenance item that would require frequent replacement.
