When you log in to change dates on your reservation, the date window only goes out 6 months to November right now. I changed ours to November, and then set a calendar reminder to myself to change it again, but that will probably only get me to May, so I'll have to change three times in total.

Date is tentative, the doc has to get approval for all non-emergency surgeries right now due to the need to keep spaces available for COVID patients, but hoping to get it done sooner than later.

We just transferred our reservations to 12 months out (May 2021) with no problem. We will have to go back in next May to transfer once more to June.

This is Reserve America's policy copied and pasted from their page:

Reservation Policy
Reservations are accepted up to twelve (12) months in advance of the current date. The check-in date determines the earliest point at which a reservation can be made even if the reservation extends into a subsequent period for which reservations are not yet being accepted. All requests for reservations within the 2 day window may call the park for availability. An individual, 18 years of age or older, can make reservations via the internet or call center provided the required deposit of 100% is paid.

Change Policy
Changes in arrival dates, departure dates or sites can be made up to 2 days before arrival. These changes have no fee associated. These changes are not permitted the day before the arrival day or on the day of arrival.

PS we want to apologize again for having cancelled the rally, but with no bathhouse (toilets and showers) being available we just could not see going forward with it.

That would sure put it out of reach for anyone without a bathroom. Eggs on the Hiawassee is proceeding with that limitation and we'll see how it goes. Clearly it will preclude some of our friends.

Walt, just jumping in here for a moment since I had the same issues.

Troy said that he transferred his former June 2020 date forward to May 2021, since that is within the 12 month reservation window. Then, he will have to go back in after about June 10, 2020 to move the reservation again to the correct June date in 2021.

I chose to just cancel my reservation for this year and will go back in after June 9. 2020, to make a new reservation for the correct dates in 2021.

Either way would work!

I'm doing this by memory right now, but I think when you have your reservation on screen, click on the site number and it brings up more details. At the top right should be Cancel...Change or something like that. That's where you change the dates. I don't have a current live reservation right now, so I can't verify these directions..

This is Anita. Kevin had it pretty spot on. Once on your reservation, click "details" and then "change date." Then look for the calendar and click on the arrival date. then scroll to the date you want to move to, then it ask you to choose the departure date and confirm. In reviewing the comments, it looks like you already got it, but wanted to include these instructions for anyone else needing assistance.

PS Don't forget, if you cancel there is a fee. But moving dates has no fee.

Hi all,
Perhaps this thread doesn't exist anymore, but I am sick of staying home. Just finished packing my Scamp and made a last-minute reservation for this weekend (6/12 & 6/13) and, as you all may know, the campground is re-opening on 6/11.
Yes, I'll be social distancing and wearing my facemask but I'll bet there may be some other FG campers there, too.
By the way, the campground's almost full!

We were able to change next year's arrival date to June 9th as of today, and reserve the same spot we would have been in this year, (site 13). Hopefully the world will be back to semi-normal this time next year and we're looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Last month I changed my 2020 reservation to May 10, 2021. Today I changed that reservation to June 10, 2021. Same site: 002

When changing your reservations, remember to change both your arrival and departure dates. Changing just the arrival date seems to have no affect on the change process.

My change to May, 2021 initially got me a small credit. Today's change resulted in a small debit. Must be some difference between 2020 & 2021 rates and also May & June rates.

Now holding (fingers crossed) for next year. Until then: STAY SAFE!!

Hi All,

Laura and I moved our reservations as well today. We will arrive on Thursday, June 10 and depart on Monday, June 14 (2021).

Going to camp in Huntsville next week. Our first time out since Green Eggs and Ham. Cancelled three trips. Going to camp more local (within 200 miles the rest of the year).
