Hey Phil. Hope you can join us. Right now, the Oregon State Park system has a 30 day reservation window. That means you can make your reservation for Nehalem Bay State Park 30 days from the day/date for the first night you wish to camp.

Since the NOG dates are Oct. 1-4, you can make your reservation starting Sept. 1. Of course if you wish to camp sooner, your reservation can be made in August.

We're now one month from Fall NOG. I've just updated the participants list and map. Although I haven't heard from our Canadian friends, I've deleted them from the list due to the border closure. Hope they can make it to a future NOG.

Due to current conditions we will NOT be having any of our usual activities (Dinner on a Stick, Beer Exchange, Pot Luck, trailer tours, etc.). We will be practicing social distancing and mask wearing out of respect for everyone and various health issues.

I'm asking that everyone wear a name tag! When people are away from their site, we won't know if they're part of our group and we want to be as welcoming as possible under these circumstances. Displaying a site sign with your info is also encouraged.

Please note that not all restrooms and shower facilities will be open and operating or possibly they will have reduced hours which haven't been announced. Be prepared.

Lastly. Please pack sun! The NOGs are always a lot of fun no matter what the weather. But it sure is nice to walk or be on the beach when it's not raining. Because of social distancing we won't be able to congregate under participants site shelters.

Stay safe. Stay well. Safe travels. See y'all in a month!
