The 7th Annual Eggs on the Hiawassee River
Rally will be held June 2, 3 & 4th 2022 at Riverbend Campground in Hiawassee Georgia. This all molded fiberglass rv
rally is nestled in the northeast Georgia
rally in a beautiful mountain valley along the Hiawassee River. The family owned and operated campground is an award winning 5 star campground, the campground is beautifully landscaped and the facilities are immaculate.
The rally begins on Thursday with
registration and meet and greet at 3PM at the large pavilion. Friday and Saturday there are morning seminars courtesy of our sponsors as well as coffee and donuts. The open house is divided into 2 days due to the size of this event. The creek divides the campground and on Friday the front half of the campground will have open house from 11 AM to 3 PM and on Saturday the back half of the campground same hours. Voting takes place Saturday with ballots for the Campers Choice Awards due at 4PM at the ballot box located in the pavilion. Other events include a corn hole tournament, ladder ball, fly fishing seminar, pot luck, Campers Choice Awards Presentation and more.

(1) call Riverbend Campground at 706-896-1415 to check for site availability.
(2) if all hookup sites are full either ask to be placed on the waiting list or
(3) try to find someone you know who will allow you to share a site (double up) or
(4) book a
boondocking site without hookups ($10/night)and you have access to all amenities - there is plenty of room for
boondocking so there is no excuse to not get a site...nights in the mountain elevation here are cool (60's-70's) enough that you don't need
air conditioning just a fan but it can range from mid 70's to upper 80's during the days at this time.
(5) join the Eggs on the Hiawassee Facebook group and post your site number and you trailer make/model (if you are not on Facebook post your in the comments below here instead) - Facebook is the best way to keep up with updates to the rally as notifications of updates are instant.
Rally goers have traveled from as far away Washington state to attend this rally which has gained national attention in Trailer Life magazine, Vintage Camper Trailers magazine and featured on the the Runaway Roses YouTube Channel
