Not sure what other info you are looking for. This is a very relaxed "gathering" and not really a rally as such. We usually have a hotdog roast on Friday night and then a potluck on Saturday night but as of right now and because of unknown COVID restrictions, those are still up in the air. We were able to have a pretty good time last year despite COVID and I expect the same for this year. Stay tuned, join us if you can and pass the word.

We plan on coming
Hello, all.
We plan on coming, but we operate in a new fashion. We monitor the available spots and sign up in person if we can. We are getting too old to plan ahead.

Less than a month before we gather at Taidnapam!! Of course the weather is the deciding factor as to what types of activities we will be able to participate in but I thought I'd throw out some ideas. I think the Friday evening hotdog roast is a go. We'll have a fire and you can bring your wieners and sticks along with any other munchies you want to share. Bring a chair and any firewood you can to keep the fire going. Given the COVID issues that still are out and about, I don't think we're quite there yet for an all out potluck for Saturday evening so like last year, prepare your own meals and bring them with you to a campfire. I think drinks to share would be appropriate as would simple dessert items....like chocolate. For those first timers, this group has a long standing tradition of buffalo plaid items as uniform of the day such as a hat, shirt, jacket or even socks so if you have them, wear them. This is not a "rally" as such, but rather just a gathering of fiberglass RV folks who like to get some camping in and enjoy each other. No real events planned but the area does have some attractions fairly close by for exploration. I think the majority of campers just kick back and relax for a few days. As I mentioned above, if you are able to bring some firewood for the community fires please do so. If you have any ideas for an around the campfire group game on Friday or Saturday that might be fun. Pop up shelters could be useful if the weather doesn't cooperate so if you have one, bring it along if the forecast is looking grim. We have been pretty lucky over the years with good weather but you never know. Any other ideas you might have or questions about things just let us know. Looking forward to it........

I'm in Site 278, Jun2-6. Those who have attended this gathering in the years past will remember it as our focal point site for our past gatherings, such as the meet & greet craft beer exchanges and our hot dog/burger roasts, etc. It's the one located towards the bottom of the hill on the northern-most of the "200's section" campsite roads. It's a pull-through site with the fire pit and the "big back yard" that we have used in many of the past get-togethers for our group gatherings and events. It offers a larger area for congregating and more room for seating than most sites. Don't forget to bring your chairs and whatever else you want to bring. Firewood is always welcome as well. There is also one of the park's restroom buildings handily nearby across the road if you need it.
Anyway, finally getting to my point here is that I would like to offer the availability of this area again for our get-togethers for those who wish to attend, if it sounds good. Come to meet some old friends and make new ones. As Kim (Possum) mentioned, we really don't have any set agenda. We just throw together a few gatherings during our annual stay at this park to socialize and mingle. Pot-luck side dishes, salads and desserts are also welcome additions for our hot dog roasts.
Depending on your comfort levels, I'd like to see if we can revive the old "weekend trailer tours" again as well. It's always fun to see some new ideas and things people have done to their rigs to make them more to their liking.
Warning! You may see many things that you really like, and they will keep you busy for a long time creating your own "mods."

Thanks for chiming in Greg. I was playing the "wait and see" game for a location but you solved that for us, thank you!
