That time again!

We just made our reservations for our 12th gathering at Maryhill State Park the weekend before Memorial Day 2022 (May 20-22).

This will be the 12th year we've visited this area on this weekend - we've had small 'Not Organized' gatherings and a lot of fun in the area.
This get together isn’t limited to fiberglass rv’s – we’ve had participants in every type of rv in past years.

We’ll host a campfire Friday & potluck Saturday.

Norma and I will be in site 50 - Please join us if you can!

Hi Carolyn - I know - 9 months away already.
We'll be getting there on May 17th next year - the unorganized stuff starts on the 20th

reservation site says no sites available from 16-19 due to work being done. I notice several have reservations across those dates

Just got an email that Maryhill State park will close from May 16, 2022 to May 19, 2022 for tree maintenance.

My reservations were from Wednesday the 18 through Sunday the 22nd.
I'm assuming the campout is still on??, it's just that I can't come early before the campout on the 18th or 19th. The clerk on the wagoingtocamp phone, after checking with someone, said the first night I could stay would be the 20th.

I'm going to modify my reservations now. Cory (for her & dog Hunter)

I just got off the phone with the reservation number in the e-mail.

You need to call the number - 1(888)226-7688 - if you need to change your arrival so they can waive the $10 change fee - website can't figure out the change is because of their new scheduling conflict - but Emily was very nice on the phone.

We'll be arriving at the park on the 20th.... gonna cut into my not organizing time
Hope they leave us some shade, but there were some standing dead due to disease last year...to bad they couldn't schedule the maintenance sooner...

Just changed mine... was 18th to 23rd, now 20th to 24th.. had to give up my pull thru site... now site 17.
Don and Peggy Ast kept their pull thru site 14.
Quite annoying actually... but glad we are still "on"...

No, really "annoying" would be a tree on one of our trailers in my mind. The campsite we reserved doesn't even have any trees but I am happy they maintain the park like they do.

Shorter than the Oregon Coast at least. Maybe I could could convince folks to hit up Crow Butte in the future! That's less than 90 minutes from my door!

But as far as INTERESTING locations, I wonder if i could get enough people to visit the Wallowas to make a party of it....

We have been to Crow Butte with a small group and really don't have any interest in going back. It is too far from anything so no one was interested in going back. No grocery store even close.

I'm so glad I happened to see this thread! I was able to get site 39 for Friday and Saturday nights. I wondered why everything was booked for the weekdays just prior, and saw the tree trimming notice. Anyway, it will be nice to be there, this became my favorite SP after picking up my Casita this year, have been twice. Look forward to seeing you all again!

It looks like the park is fully booked right now, but that usually changes as we get closer to May + I see the reservation website has a new e-mail notification feature that may help.
I see Peach Beach Resort (next door to Maryhill SP) has 27 sites available. We haven't stayed there, but some of our regulars do every year and like it.https://peachbeachcamping.com/
