NY | 2024 Rally Map

Since the old rally map no longer exists, I am trying to put something together. This is a start - if you have a rally or see something wrong with those listed or have suggestions, please let me know. If there is a way to select All for a prefix, let me know, otherwise it is going to be NY.

Can't you choose "No prefix"?

The first two choices didn't appear using my Safari browser; then again, Google Maps sure didn't like Safari. I hate to switch, but I do find lots of things that Safari doesn't like.

Thanks for taking this one on, Jon! I always refer people looking for rallies to the map, as it seemed like the most efficient and logical way to organize the information.

Although I no longer host a Rally, I know a lot of people used the Rally-maps and found the one I did, and we plan to use it to find some other Rallies to go to in the near future. Want to say Thanks for doing this...

Yes, Hidalga took down her rally map - I am making an attempt to replace it. I'll do it by year, and hope the various forums add it to their menu or make it a sticky...

That's exactly what happened. I talked to Janine... One person, just one person made her so angry she deleted the maps and has left the forum.

She wasn't in the right frame of mind to handle it. If it were me, I would have reported the individual and THEY would have been the one gone. Sigh. It wasn't to be.

So everyone file this under Lessons Learned. IF YOU CAN'T BE NICE, BE QUIET.

And let's all thank Jon for being willing to take on the task. The rally map truly is a great asset for those of us putting on all-molded-towable gatherings.

Just an update - as of today there are 41 rallies/gatherings on the map. If you are an organizer of a rally or gathering that is not on the map, please let me know so I can add it. If you have a rally or gathering that is on the map, please check that the information is correct. 2024 Rally Map

Also, I am ready to start the 2025 Rally Map - if you have dates, let me know.

When I click on "view the map legend" I do get the list of rallies, but they are not clickable links as in the previous version. Am I missing something?

Since I don't have a copy (no one does) of the previous Rally Map made by Hidalga, I'm not sure what part of the legend was "clickable". What I have done with this version is add a clickable link if I could find one under the Description part of the location.

Using Chrome, the legend appears on the left - click on a date/Name & it will show the description (as does clicking on the teardrop on the map).

Again, many of the rallies do not have a link available. I try to add a description & campground address if one is available.

Jon - Thank you so much for resurrecting the Rally Map. So many people enjoy seeing what's going on and it, no doubt, gives people ideas as to where they might like to travel. Plus, now I know where I'm supposed to be for our rally ...

Thank you very much for organizing this map! I am a planner and do a lot of mapping, I am happy to help you if you should ever need any assistance or the task gets to be too big and you want to share the load.

I am not the organizer, but I am attending a rally in October at Rock Cut State Park in Illinois that is not on the map. It is called Fall Festival of Colors, organized by the Midwest Scamp Owners facebook group. I have a Burro, they said all fiberglass trainers are welcome, not just Scamps.
