The annual Quartzsite Arizone Gathering will be February 6th thru 9h, 2025 at Dome Rock! The "Pre-Gathering" will be from Feb 3-5 or whenever you choose to arrive. Once again this will be a "No Host" get together and everyone can do as they please, visit with friends, make new friends, ask questions, see mods, sit around a campfire, tell jokes, sing whatever you want to do! The town of Quartzsite is only 3 miles away and has pretty much all you need, gas, food, places to eat, dump facility, trash dump station, and lots of RV vendors. Come when you want and leave when you want, find a spot you like and set up camp. This is a total boondocking camping get together so come test out your boondocking skills! Best of all it is on BLM land and totally FREE and the most gorgeous sunrises and sunsets you will see anywhere! The 2024 Gathering was a great success with about 150 trailers attending so 2025 should be great also.

The Quartzsite annual Gathering swap meet will be Friday the 7th at 10am. Same place as last year in the open area by the main entrance road. Folks can start setting up at 9-9:30 if they wish. This is going to be a self hosted event meaning stay with your stuff and make your own deals. If you have stuff to give away that is fine too, just be sure to take anything back that is not gone at the end of the meet.
I am announcing a "Giveaway" that many of you may be interested in....as many of you know I changed my Casita over to LiFePo4 batteries recently to the Li Time 100 AH Group 31 batteries. I have made a deal with Li Time to get two new 140 AH batteries for my trailer with the understanding that I give away the two 100 AH batteries that I currently have, they are great batteries and have no issues.
So, here is how that is going to work..
1) Come to the swap meet on Friday morning and get a ticket from me at my trailer where the two batteries will be on display.
2) The drawing will be at 11am at the swap meet and you and your winning ticket MUST be present to get your battery! We will probably take a photo of you receiving your battery.
See you all at the swap meet and don't forget to bring all your stuff to sell or give away!

The Quartzsite Gathering is now only a month away and appears to be shaping up to be one of the biggest gatherings ever! Blue skies, free BLM camping and gorgeous sunsets with lots of "like minded" folks getting together in the desert, what is there not to like? See you all there soon!
