Scrambled Eggs will gather again the first weekend of May at Mille Lacs Kathio State Park, Petaga campground.

All electric sites have been filled. If you can manage without electricity it is usually not a problem if one can be flexible and reserve on same day to avoid reservation fee.

If you want to attend and need electricity I usually post when an electric site becomes vacant. Send me a private message to let me know you would like an electric site if one becomes available. I could then send you a message to let you know it will be posted.

We have no scheduled activities. Music usually happens on Saturday afternoon.

Site 40 is where we gather. Coffee is usually on in the morning. Bring your cup and chair.

Hello Mark,

You are certainly welcome to join us. We have all kinds of rigs show up, even those of us who have gone to sticky. Some have Casitas too.

The park is quite nice and very accommodating. However it is often still cold up here. No leaves on trees, etc. Water is turned on the weekend we arrive. Cold nights. That is why our music group (if you sing or play an instrument please join) started playing in the afternoon instead of evening.

Most of us require electricity and those sites go immediately.

Many of us show up on Wednesday night, leave Sunday morning. We have not yet canceled a non electric site we hold for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, and that will be available. It is near the gathering site and is quite nice. However it could be that someone with an electric site will need to cancel a site also.

We do not plan a schedule. I would expect morning coffee and Saturday afternoon music jam. Evening campfires at a couple of different sites. We have not had a formal pot luck since before covid and I am not expecting us to do that now either. Usually have music a couple of times. Often the park ranger provides a Saturday morning ranger talk. I have not contacted her yet.

This *is* early season. If you come bring warm clothes. If you are interested in site 49 (non electric) we can continue to hold it for a while yet, and you could pay us when you arrive. I need to check to see how soon we need to cancel to get a refund if no one wants it.

Mark, You may want to make note of the Pink Elephant Rally in Iowa in June. That is an interesting area of Iowa. We enjoyed going the year we attended.

I think site 38 electric is available the nights of the 30, 1, 2, 3. We had someone who needed to cancel. The site was booked starting the 4th when I looked a few minutes ago.

Mark, Like South Dakota state parks we have to have a park pass. Many of our out of state friends buy the annual pass since they come to two gatherings a year. If you plan on any other Minnesota Park visits it might be a better deal to buy the annual pass rather than the daily one.

We will be canceling a non electric spare site we hold tomorrow. Site #49 is not far from the gathering area and is a nice site.

If anyone wants that site before we cancel let me know soon. We have it reserved for Thurs the first through Sunday morning.
