Scrambled Eggs will gather at St. Croix State Park Riverview Campground east of Hinkley, MN September 3-7, 2025.

If you need an electric site make your reservation soon. This campground has more electric sites than our spring meet, we still recommend an early reservation if you need electric.

Gathering area will be site 22.

This is a large park with several campgrounds. It is not near grocery stores and gas stations. Come prepared.

Welcome new people. We look forward to seeing you and are glad we have a park with more electric sites than our usual park. We haven’t had a Burro for a while but several of us have 13 footers.

Morning coffee at site 22. We usually have afternoon music jam. If you play or sing please entertain us, otherwise just be entertained. The musicians set the time and days.

We have not planned on a pot luck. If anyone wants to have one step up and manage it.

We also do not do open house. If you want to see someone’s rig just ask, most people are happy to show theirs.

Welcome Gerry and Susan,

I don’t know if you are familiar with Minnesota. St. Croix is mid Minnesota. It is below the pine and spruce forests. Not sure what you need to know. It could be cold or hot, rainy or dry. Be prepared for insects.

We have so many new people coming to this gathering. We are not organized. We do not have workshops, open houses, and since Covid we sort of got off the pot luck circuit too. If Aldi’s brings back their Apple Strudel Bread I have a breakfast idea. We do have morning coffee and afternoon music jams, story telling, etc.

I guess we are pretty spontaneous. People sometimes bring a craft for those interested in doing a craft. We are never sure what activity might happen.

We look forward to seeing all the new faces this September. Would post what campsite we are in but we play musical chairs with a few campsites and I am not sure which one we will be at. Gathering site #22.

To add to Nancy's post about the St Croix gathering, the group tends to be informal with discussions around the coffee campfire in the morning with activities centered around the Gathering Site on #22e. People often talk about their trailers which leads to impromptu trailer visits and problem solving. The music jams are there so bring along your instruments even if it is your voice.
