Ok Folks, Algonac’s remodel is done! Our 2025 Rally is happening at fun and fabulous Algonac.

Where - Algonac State Park on the eastern shorline of Michigan’s ‘thumb’.
Dates: Sept 5-7 but many campers come in earlier and stay longer.

You can reserve 6 months out ahead of the day you plan to arrive.
Agenda: TBD -But look for fun and festivities as in the past. Our new Leader and Organizer, Carol Patterson is still in the planning phase.
MAP UPDATE 3-21-25 - we have 48 camps so far! I will update the map regularly. Be sure to post your name(s), camper, and site number

FAQs -
- What was the remodel for? Repave roads, add full hookup sites, add paved handicap sites, remodel park office, remodel and add additional dump stations, remove north bathroom (not replaced), and probably a few other things I can't recall.
- Where are the bathrooms? North bathrooms are gone, the newer existing South bathrooms remain.
- Campsite fee increase? yes, refer to the website for prices.
- Do we have any specific area we are planning to camp? No We don't have a specific camping area this year, but many will shift southwards to be closer to restroom. The red dots on the map are us!!

For those who desire a somewhat longer stay in Michigan (over Labor Day weekend), I happened to notice that the Lexington Thumbfest (1 hour north of Algonac, on Lake Huron) is scheduled for August 30. It's easy to find an extra week's worth of things to see and places to go in Michigan.

We have reserved site #218 for September 3-7. Lots of sites remain available as of this morning, but most of the riverfront sites are no longer available.
I don't see this rally on the 2025 rally Map.
