Hi Sandra,
I'm guessing the GA group you're trying to get hold of is a private Fecebook club.
If they aren't posting their rally info for the public here, then you'll need to make a Facebook account and join their private club.


Unfortunately, that's the way some small gatherings roll. We hope all events will be open to all, and will post party invite information here on this forum without extra effort on the people who are new (or without Facebook accounts) and want to attend.

My wife and I host the Eggs on the Hiawassee River rally and we do list it here but we direct everyone to our Facebook group for the latest information and discussion. The reason is we used to put it here exclusively but a large percentage didn't follow the forum often enough to know what was going on and a dedicated website was expense we didn't want to take on so we decided to use the Facebook group which was free and has worked very well and everyone gets update notifications as soon as we make a post.

If someone wants to attend they call the campground (Riverbend Campground in Hiawassee Georgia) and get a site then go to the Facebook group above and click on the events tab and you will see the event for the current year. Click on it and you will see discussion where you can post what site # you are in.

The 5th Annual Eggs on the Hiawassee River Rally will be held on May 28th - 31st 2020 at Riverbend Campground in Hiawassee Georgia. Riverbend Campground is a family run facility nestled in a northeast Georgia mountain valley along the banks of the Hiawassee River. This is a 5 star campground, very well landscaped grounds, with extra wide campground roads and very spacious sites. It has the absolute cleanest bathhouses, a large pool, a large group use pavillion, and beautiful mountain views. This facility has full hookups as well as a dry camping area once the hookups sites fill up. This is a rally you do not want to miss, as it is one of the largest and fastest growing fiberglass rallies in North America and was featured in the July 2018 issue of Vintage Camper Trailers Magazine.

The 4rd annual 2019 rally had well over 100 campers with a long waiting list to get in. Thursday night there is a fish fry provided by the campground with rally goers bringing side dishes to go with the fish and hush puppies. Friday will have seminars, a corn hole competition and an open house as well as new demo units on site for anyone looking to buy or upgrade. This past rally featured demo units by Oliver Travel Trailer and Southland RV brought the Bigfoot Truck Camper and the Airstream Nest. On Saturday more seminars and the continuation of the open house followed that night with a pot luck and the presentation of the Campers Choice Awards for Best of Show, Best Decor, Best Vintage Egg, Best Modification and more!

This past rallies sponsors included Southland RV, Casita, Relic, Little House Customs, Oliver Travel Trailers, Vintage Trailer Supply, and DiscountPrintingService.com.

This is the rally that all the other rallies are measured against. Boondockers are also welcome if you don't need hookups!
