Hi Dean,
There is no itinerary and no host at the"GATHERING" But there will be a lot of really friendly campers. For several years the "Green Eggs & Ham" rallies were held there celebrating St Patrick day. But that fizzled after A wonderful 10 year run. However the spirit of GE&H gathering was still on the people.
So once again we showed up. It is like a homecoming. And we personally met more people than ever before. And we stayed plenty busy. Most folks prefer the Catoma Loop because of the wide bike friendly paved roads and large campsites, which all have sewer hook up.
The Antioc loop is more rustic. And still lots of sites available there.
SO JOIN US IF YOU CAN.

Hi folks! John and I will be on Catoma site#7 this time with our new Escape. Yep, after coming for several years in our Casita we toured an Escape two years in a row at Green Eggs & Ham and the seed was planted! We missed last year but look forward to seeing everyone this year. Oh, and Casita Dean May and Laura will be there too, on a site near us! Looking forward to visiting with the fiberglass crowd - always such an interesting group of folks!

We missed last year too. We were supposed to board a plane for Ireland the same day that travel restrictions were put in place, so that made us miss the gathering AND our trip to Ireland.
We were at every other GE&H in our Scamp.
Marilyn will also be there this year, but with our new Escape. I think there will be a few new Escapes there in 2021.

Gunter Hill campground is available for reservations at recreation.gov.
They have two loops that are separated by a short drive or loooong walk, Catoma loop is normally preferred and more modern, and Antioch loop is more rustic.

Looks like I'm late to the party and Catoma is full. If I have to I'll book in Antioch later, but if anyone has the misfortune of needing to cancel in Catoma I'd sure appreciate advanced warning by a PM.

Hi Walt, glad you are coming.
There will most likely be others at Antioch. And since there is no host, organizers, or planned events, there is no real need to camp near the Catoma pavilion. In reality Antioch is more like camping in days of yore. And we are free to our own devices.

Hi Kip. I know it's not a planned rally, but most good friends will be in Catoma and I'd much prefer being closer to them.

Just a note, if anyone can fix this, but the rally map shows that the "March Gathering" is in Pickensville, AL rather than at Gunter Hill campground near Montgomery, AL.

Thanks,
I sent a message to Jeanine since she maintains the rally maps.

Only about 4 weeks or so until folks begin to show up at Gunter Hill for the GATHERING.
Should be lots of updated Rigs and Tugs and new people. The Catoma loop is full, but plenty of good sites Still available at the Antioch loop.
Last year looked like a disaster just before we were to arrive. But the sky cleared, water retreated from flooded sites and the weather and temps were truly about perfect for camping. It was a wonderful turnout.
Hoping for clear skies, nice temperatures, and interesting innovations, as our individual creative devices kick in.
And of course prayers for safe travels.
