Haven`t tried it ..but maybe someone will, and let us know how it was

3 tablespoons chocolate chips or (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract and your favourite tipple
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to your largest mug and mix well.

Well, I just gave it a try.
It's actually not bad. If this were to be made while camping, it would of course be almost excellent, as everything tastes better outside. And warm chocolate cake would be quite a treat. Especially with ice cream, or whipped cream.
Thanks for the recipe!
(Hmmmm I wonder what else can be mixed up in a cup and microwaved???)

A much simpler cake-like recipe for camping.

Chocolate - Caramel Cake

1/2 cup chocolate cake mix
1/3 cup water

Mix in a large, microwave safe, cereal bowl and top with

1 tablespoon hot fudge topping and 2 teaspoons of caramel topping

Microwave 95 seconds

Tried original post recipe this trip.

And while I do not care much for chocolate everyone else enjoyed it.

It came out a unique consistency, comparable to a chocolate sponge cake.
