Bucket for One-Burner Stove

Some folks on Yahoo-Scampers were interested in the bucket I built for my one-burner stove to make it and esp the pot more stable and provide a little wind protection. I use the wooden spacers under the stove to adjust for pot, Dutch Oven or wok. When I am done cooking, I simply pick it up off the picnic table or tailgate where I was cooking and drop it back into a milk crate in the truck, along with accessories.

Ye Beare Prudence is my sous-chef.

Also pictured is the DO pot and lid lifter I made from a garden tool.

:wave Pete,

Nice lid lifter. Is that an aluminum Dutch Oven?

Yes, that's the small aluminum one from Campmor. Problem is that if it's kinda full, the COG is too high and it will likely tip if you pick it up by the bail, which is why I made the lifter.
