Fire grate cooking.

I do love cooking on those old bent-up fire grates.

But I also bring along a stand-up wire grate as a backup and a griddle sometimes.

We've moved on from the foil packets to using the Coleman stove for veggies. It makes it much easier not to have under cooked potatoes and burned-to-a-crisp onions!

What's your secret technique?
