Hopefully you'll find some here, until someone pops in with a "Tried and True" gotta-have-it Recipe!

Fabulous Foods

Greetings, Willy! Here's a sugarless recipe I plan to make for a loved one who must reduce sugar intake ... hope it will be a keeper for me and will work for you! Happy Holiday, LdB

SUGARLESS CUTOUT COOKIES

3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened

1 (3oz) pkg sugar-free gelatine (mixed-fruit, strawberry, lemon, orange - whatever flavor you prefer - tint dough w/food coloring if desired).

egg substitute to equal 1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 3/4 cup flour

1/2 tsp baking powder

1. In large bowl, cream butter/marg & gelatin.
2. Beat in egg substitute & vanilla
3. Sift together flour & baking powder; add to bowl & mix well.
4. Refrigerate dough 1 hour.
5.`Roll out on a lightly floured board to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes.
6. Bake at 400* for 6-7 minutes ou until bottoms of cookies lightly browned & cookie are set. Cool on wire racks - ENJOY!

Lori has come up with a great dessert.

I have lost over 50 pounds and still losing.

It is a pudding apple dessert with no sugar. Oh man is it good.

1 packet HMR 70
Sugar free Butterscotch pudding
1 tabl citricell
Apples cooked (we buy them canned with no sugar added)
Apple Pie Spice

Lori does her magic and WOW, is it ever good.

What's this ingredient Michael?

I'd like to try it...cookieless January is coming soon.

It's gotta be good if Lori came up with the recipe

It is not going totally yet, but you’ll get the idea.

Several of our family members are diabetics so my wife came up with a recipe from somewhere that we take to almost every family get-together or church function. These are Low-sugar pies.

Grasshopper Pie

Ingredients:
1 small package sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix
1 3/4 cups skin milk
5 or 6 drops green food color
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
1/2 of an 8 oz tub of Cool-Whip (we use the fat free variety)
1 chocolate crumb crust

Mix pudding, milk, food color and mint in a medium mixing bowl for 2 minutes. Gently fold in the Cool-Whip until smooth. Pour into the prepared pie crust and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Chocolate Cream Pie

Same as above but substitute chocolate sugar-free instant pudding. Omit mint extract and food color, and we use a graham cracker crust.

These are crowd pleasers even with the non-diabetics.

Have a very Merry CHRISTmas everyone. We'll be praying for safe holidays for everyone.

STRAWBERRY PIE

1 pint strawberries
1 pkg sugar free vanilla need to cook pudding (not instant)
1 pkg sugar free strawberry jell-o
2 cups water

Slice berries into pie pan.
Mix water and pudding in small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until tiny bubbles begin to form.
Then add jell-o and stir until a rolling boil. Remove from heat and pour mixture over sliced berries.
Cool in fridge overnight. Add a little fat free cool whip with it.

ENJOY !

At the grocery store this week, I noticed a new Sugar Free Cool Whip.
Might help reduce the sugar in some of these yummy recipes.
