Italian is not our regular fare, it just freezes better. Kung Pao, not so well!
Lizbeth: Prep is everything. We make a big batch of sauce and freeze it in 1 and 2 cup containers. Anytime during the day you can boil the noodles, cool them with cold water, and coat them in olive oil. Then just line up your ingredients in pans, small tubs and/or bowls and assemble.
This is a CIA recipe (not that
CIA...maybe). The prep time is about 10 min. (with frozen sauce and pre-boiled noodles) and 15 minutes assembly. One hour to cook and 15-30 minutes to set.
