These are alternative names for food items that have become part of regular speech around my house and friends.

To us, they require no explaination, but outsiders stare in confusion when some one asks for one, and the items appear without question.

Coke, Dr Pepper, or any pop, soda item = Liquid Tooth Shortener

Coffee = Synthetic Enthusiasm

Powdered Non Dairy Creamer = Plastic Cow

French Fries = Cholesterol Enhancers

Classic eggs, bacon, and fried potatoe breakfast = The Cholesterol Special

Granulated Sugar = White Death

Anyone want to add to the confusion?

In our youth we tent camped in Canada. Any beer consumed before noon was referred to as a "Barley Sandwich."
