61% (Dixie). A definitive Southern score! New Mexico by way of Texas.

I turned up 46% yankee (from CA), Dean was 67% Dixie (from TX). That was a fun quiz!

I came up 70% Dixie and my wife scored 60% yankee.
Hows that for a couple of Canucks?

Guess I'm a winner (or loser) with a score of 81% Dixie.

Jeeze. How embarrasing.

Born in the North (Illinois), raised in the South (Alabama), living in the West (Oregon) =
45% (Yankee). Barely into the Yankee category.

48% Yankee - just barely. Born in Canada, parents from Wisconsin, spent a lot of time in Texas - no wonder it's kind of a wishy-washy score (now is 'wishy-washy' a Yank thing or a Dixie thing . . . hmmm)

I got a 35%, which was a "definitive Yankee." I guess my Iowa/Minnesota roots are showing!

Not surprisingly a yankee. This question did not have the correct answer:

20. What's that bug that rolls into a ball when you touch it?

We have always called these wooly-bears?

From: http://www.coldspringschool.com/Mill/wooly.html

"The setae are little hairs on the caterpillar. When the caterpillar is scared, it rolls up into a little ball."

Yes! The wooly-bears do roll up also! But I think most people think of those little pill bugs that are under rocks and logs as the premier rollers. And they do have lots of names....even as a Yank, I know several.

56% Dixie. Interesting as I have lived in Ontario all my 50 plus years, must by all that American TV we watch.
