Yankee or Dixie Quiz
My score was 41% (Yankee). Barely into the Yankee category.

That's a really fun quiz. My score was ....
62% (Dixie). A definitive Southern score!
Not surprising, since I grew up in the south.

55% Dixie! It would appear that a preschool year in Mississippi 65 years ago has gone a long ways. I've lived the rest of my life in the states of Illinois, Washington and California, but vacation traveled throughout the rest of the country, except the far northeast.
Good job...to whoever put the quiz together!

I got a 74% Dixie. Kinda surprising since I been out of there for long years. That was fun, though.

I scored 50%, just barely into the Yankee category.
Very surprising since I have lived in 7 states (+ New Jersey) from Maine to Mississippi and as far west as California, one Canadian Provence and Europe (Berlin). Guess I use such an eclectic combination of pronunciations that I confused the program. Does this mean I'm an outsider no matter where I go? And does it mean I'll never be allowed to own a Y'all Haul FGRV?

46% (Yankee). Barely into the Yankee category. - Hard to believe given I've never BEEN to Dixie. Must be enough Dixie in Utah and California to do the trick.
Jen in Cali - 3 days and counting

Hmmmpf. I don't need no stinkin' quiz to know I'm a southerener.
My score was 75%. Obviously there's a flaw in the scorin' - since I'm from several generations of "south." (Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Virginia)

45% Yankee.
I can see that my Massachusetts upbringing has been "softened' by having adopted an number of Great Lake-isms.

74% Dixie. May have been born in Indiana, but left at 6 months of age and have lived in Texas almost all my life.
