Spotted Owl, et al

Charles - the Koi are too boney to eat, :xx unless you're a heron or a cat. :reyes A Carp is a Carp, no matter the paint job. :wink And they aren't endangered, just loved. I hate to lose any, and it's rare that we do, but if we do, we get more. If we get rid of the Spotted Owl, we also will get rid of the forest, because we can. Like the Passenger Pigeon. :sad They are gone, never to be seen again, but I understand they were good eating while they lasted.

Hmmm ... no forests, you say? I hadn't thought of that! Save a lot of wear and tear on the trailer.

No Forests?

Sure Charles, you wouldn't be knocking anymore chucks off your trailer, but wouldn't you miss the campfires?:sad Of course, on the upside, there wouldn't be anymore forest fires. :o But on the downside, there would be a lot less oxygen.:nope Ya just can't win.

>>no oxygen

Ok, ok! I give up!

Save the California Spotted Owl!

Save the whale (Rick will have to live without blubber)

Free Willie!

I joined both Greenpeace and the Sierra Club today.

Carol C and Ollie W will be so proud of me!

I'm still pro-guns however.

And, saw the following bumper sticker:

First Iraq ... then France!

But it's in the JOKES section...

Personally I prefer the by-now-passe, ''Visualize Whirled Peas.''
