Camper Alert
Caution:
The Colorado State Department of Fish and Wildlife is advising hikers, hunters, fishers, and golfers to take extra precautions and keep alert for bears while in the Dillon, Breckenridge, and Keystone areas.
They advise people to wear noise-producing devices such as little bells on their clothing to alert but not startle the bears unexpectedly. They also advise the carrying of pepper spray in case of an encounter with a bear. It is also a good idea to watch for fresh signs of bear activity.
People should recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly bear droppings.
Black bear droppings are smaller and contain berries and possibly squirrel fur.
Grizzly bear droppings have little bells in them and smell like pepper spray :laugh

We only have black bears in Phoenix. We had several cases where they came into town this year. Food was scarce because of the drought.

Bears
How do you tell the difference between a Black bear and a Grizzly bear?
A black bear will follow you up the tree and a Grizzly will shake you out of it. :omy

My avatar
Hi Janifer
So what avatar are you seeing. Last night I tried posting a drawing of the red van and green Trillium but it didn't show that it worked. All I see is the photo of the Trillium.
So how do I see the other?????? And how do I get it below my name like yours is????? Ya, I am computer illiterate! :red

I see the drawing.
Ok, now to get it with your signiture you have to go through a couple of steps.
1. start to post anywhere, not important. over by the smillies you click upload a photo. do every thing but submit the post. copy the url of the picture you want to add to your signiture.
2. go to your 'my home' and then my settings, then paste this url where you want it in your signature box. then submit that page
Now you've got it. (I hope)
I don't know why I wrote this all out. they have it written in Basic Website Tutorials down toward the bottom of the first page. Nothing like restateing the lesson.:o

Trill & Aerostar
Janifer
I did all that but it didn't work last night.
This morning when I went on to the site I saw the van & trailer also. For some reason, last night it was just the photo of the trailer??????
Who knows, maybe the computer gremlins came overnight and fixed it.
Oh and the colours are real, the Trillium is green,:sick the van red and grey and to add to it, our canoe is turquoise.:wak Can't miss us:laugh

Nancy and Janifer,
I think if you select the [b]Refresh button on your browser menu, it will do the same thing and you won't have to sign off and back on.
