CanAm RV does it again!

Undeterred by the girly-boy tow capacity expressed by the makers of the below V-Dub, Can-Am RV fabricated the towing arrangement for our recently acquired tug-tow combination. We couldn't be more pleased, and are careful to carry our outside-the-box documentation along with us in case of encounters with State Troopers and other such inside-the-box thinkers.

Hoping to see y'all on the road soon- and I'd like to say that if this doesn't FINALLY earn me a place in the "Sightings" thread, you people are as blind as bats.

Francesca

We'll watch for you but I'm not optimistic as there are a few too many underpasses between us Raz

And it gets 148 mpg while towing! But watch out for flocks of birds, they seem attracted to that type of trailer and often get sucked into the macerators.

I'm miffed- no, make that scandalized that anyone would Falsely Accuse Me of acquiring anything but a Molded Fiberglass Trailer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The very idea....

That there's jen-you-wine molded fiberglass, I'll have you know- first one out of the mold at the world-famous Humongous Trailer Works in Bakeoven, Oregon.

I've named it "Tiny", and will soon be posting a mod thread on the olympic-size swimming pool project I've undertaken up front (must take care to keep any extra water weight ahead of the axles, after all).

You are assuming the VW is towing the jet. In fact, the jet is towing the VW backwards.

And, I bet they're using European tow ratings!

I don't see the connection to Can Am. They are a respected business that depends on word of mouth and repeat customers to stay in business. They are subject to litigation for anything that they recommend and implement.

This video is just a stunt to try to sell a car.

The connection is by CanAm, Tom!

It's that yellow thing between the tug and the trailer, though I agree that one can't see the Special Magic Hardware in/under the car that makes it all possible...

Francesca

P.S.

Do please take note of the Forum Subsection this..."discussion" is posted in.

And here I was thinking that those, um, aerodynamic trailers had aluminum bodies. Fiberglass? Really? I had no idea.

Oh, and will your husband be driving the 'oversize load' lead vehicle with a pole, to make sure you can pass under the electric lines and overpasses?

Oh Francesca ! I do so stand corrected ,of course you would only have molded fiberglass( remember folks "never been sighted" )
Humongous Trailer Works in Bakeoven, Oregon you say must be a new company jen-you-wine you say ? I must try some of that "jen-you-wine" when I sight you out camping after you put in your pool.I do love to swim and now that I have begged your forgiveness..surely I will be included on your guest list.

Smile A Very Similar Tow

That trailer looks suspiciously like something designed and built in Everett, WA. Well, here is a JEEP and a So Cal product:

WARNING: A bird flies toward the end, but I still think the video is funny.

And this is without a towbar.
