Egg Shells

These egg shells were cut with a high intensity precision Laser Beam. This gives a very good idea of what can be achieved using the beam. From this can be surmised what laser surgery performed on one's eye is all about. Is it any wonder how one's vision can be improved in just a few moments? Science is sometimes wonderful, and it's still on the frontier of gaining new knowledge.

I have seen those displayed at different places.. I think they are magnificient... If I recall they are made from Ostrich eggs because the shell is thicker?

That is really cool but won't all that work cause a leak?

I know several people that do this type of thing with large bird eggs, estich, enu, etc. The poeple I know don't use lasers. They use hight speed grinders with very small grinding tips. Kind of like a dentist's grinder only with smaller "burrs" and higher speeds.
