For those selling small trailers and moving up in size

Shed is just more stuff to set up. Should have bought the model with a basement.

I agree coming from a tenting/backpacking background helps. If you have to lug it out each time and pack it or worse yet carry it all day one tends to "refine" the check list.

We also will probably always have our table as a bed and won't have easy access to the under seat storage. I'm checking our list of equipment and supplies to see what I take but don't need very often. Most of my tools, coleman fuel can, jack etc. are all headed for there.

I'm not sure if it is how much space you have, but how much time. Over the years of restoring our boler American while still using it to camp, we were always packing on the go, both for what we need to camp and what we need to do the next job. One day it just became too much and we took inventory. Lo and behold, beyond all the parts for the trailer and everything for the dogs, we found that we were packing 5 egg flippers.

Do we really need it all? I think they call it Glamping ...

People have crossed the Atlantic in covered rowing craft and there's an article in the N Y Times Sunday magazine every year it seems featuring 300 sq. ft. houses. Many things defeat the pocket cruiser idea: kids, dogs, friends, geriatric inflexibility, and of course stuff for which there is a projected need. Don't project needs beyond gas, grub, and sunblock and you won't have to pack stuff you'll never look at again until you arrive home to unpack.
