Hello fellow Cadets

This is my first time on this site!() I thought I'd start off by sharing something with you's that had me rolling on the floor! A little Cadet humour if you will! This certainly proves that our caravans(as they would call them in England) can have more than one way of getting to the next campsite!!! Check out" Airship Carvanning-Top Gear-BBC-You Tube" Hope you enjoy this as much as I did!! I also posted some picks on my new member site about my Cadet total rebuild. Hope to hear from you soon! About the back window

Well Dave, I had to remove the windows because the fiberglass needed a lot of work because of all the cracks in the window openings ! While I had them in storage I dropped the back window on the ciment floor on the right hand corner and snapped off 4 small pieces and got a crack also!!!!!(the dreaded cadet curse) So I glued the pieces back on the window using 2 part epoxie, then I light sanded the corner, masked the raised part of the window, then sprayed bed liner around the edges on both sides and the primed and painted to fleet white . I did that to give the edge more strength and to hide the repair(try to trick the eye!) Then,to protect both windows even more, I picked up at canadian tire some moulding(the stuff you put on the edge of car doors not to ding the other car next to you) A little costly maybe... but considering how rare these windows are ,well worth the investment.

Hello Jacques,

Welcome!
Great job on your Cadet rebuilt! Nice pictures.

Just watched the video 'Airship caravanning'... That is so cool!

I will have to get busy and get my Cadet ready for the summer.

We saw the Top Gear Exhibit at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu House in England when we were there last year. Great stuff.

I posted pics of that Cadet in the "Sightings" thread when we got back. Here they are again ...
